Round up the whole family and come help Belton Parks & Recreation and local Stream Teams with the second annual spring-cleaning of Oil Creek.
Volunteers are needed to remove trash from the creek, banks, and surrounding wooded areas. Training, litter bags, and work gloves will be provided. Additional activities may include tree planting and a water quality demonstration if time allows.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable drinking water bottle.
Park at the Community Center (16400 N Mullen Rd) and follow signs to the registration tent in Wallace Park. Donuts will be available at registration and lunch will be provided to all participants following the cleanup.
