Please join our community as we come together with friends, neighbors, scouts, organizations, city officials, and others in cleaning the waterways of Town Creek, Muddy Creek, and their tributaries and by removing nearby invasive bush honeysuckle.
Register at information table
Breakfast snacks and drink
Stream/watershed information available
Pick up trash along stream corridor or
remove exotic invasive Japanese bush honeysuckle.
Stream monitoring demonstration (by Missouri Stream Teams)
learn what the “bugs” (benthic macroinvertebrates)
in the stream tell us about the quality of the water.
Lunch and socializing
Bring your family and your own reusable bottle of water. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Safety training, gloves, trash bags and loppers will be provided.
