You can learn how to address stream and water quality problems by joining or forming a Missouri Stream Team.

This award winning program involves and educates citizens in recognizing the importance of protecting and promoting water quality and the conservation of natural resources. Through this program you can contribute whatever amount of time you wish by participating in activities that range from litter pick up, to tree planting, to educating the community, to monitoring the quality of water in a stream.

Our streams and the quality of water that is essential for life are continually being degraded. It is only through the joint efforts and actions of an informed citizenry, businesses, students and government officials that the quality and quantity of our waters will be improved and protected.
