Fifth Annual Stream Cleanup Event

Make a difference in your watershed!

Join your friends, neighbors, scouts, city officials, and others in

cleaning up the stream in your Harrisonville neighborhood.

Schedule

8:30    Register at shelter house

            Breakfast snacks and drink

            Stream/watershed information available

9:00   Pick up trash

11:00   Stream monitoring demonstration by SGRWA.

Learn what the “bugs” in the stream tell us about the water quality.

11:30   Lunch and socializing

       Hot dog lunch provided by Cass County Elks Lodge 2791

 

Bring your family and your own reusable bottle of water.  Wear appropriate clothing and shoes.  Safety training, gloves and trash bags

will be provided.
